Dr. Ranju Pokharel

Dr. Ranju Pokharel is a dedicated Dermatologist, Venereologist, and Leprologist with expertise in clinical dermatology, sexually transmitted diseases, and leprosy management. She completed her MD in Dermatology and STD from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, in 2022, following her MBBS from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences in 2015. With a strong academic background and extensive clinical training, she is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and advancing dermatological sciences in Nepal.

Currently, Dr. Pokharel serves as Assistant Professor at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences and has also been practicing as a Consultant Dermatologist at Mediplus Hospital & Trauma Center, Pokhara, for the past six months. Previously, she worked as a permanent Medical Officer under the Government of Nepal at District Hospital, Syangja, and gained valuable experience at Namuna Community Hospital, Lamjung, and CVICT, Kathmandu. Through her academic and clinical roles, she continues to provide comprehensive dermatological services, mentor future medical professionals, and contribute to community health and patient well-being.
