As the Mediplus Hospital and Trauma Center at the Pokhara Metropolitan City-11 (Ranipauwa), Kaski is the first Trauma Center in the Gandaki Province was founded in 25th Chaitra 2075 with the principle of providing traumatic services. Being the first in the province, the hospital has numbers of experienced doctors, young, energetic and enthusiastic management team and well-equipped departments with transportations

Located at the central Pokhara the hospital also gives 24hours laboratory services, pharmacy and ambulance services. And for the current pandemic of Covid-19, the hospital is providing treatment with full care of both the staff as well as patients in a distinct building of 50 beds for covid-19 patients only. Hospital is also ensuring a healthy environment with maintaining 2building; one for Covid-19 and another for other available services in the hospital.

Today the city of Pokhara and its nearby area with the population more than 20lakh has become one of the growing cities in Nepal and there is an exponential increase in occupational health hazards and environmental pollutions.
