Dr. Menuka Karmacharya

Dr. Menuka Karmacharya is a highly qualified Radiologist currently working full-time as a Consultant Radiologist at Mediplus Hospital & Trauma Center, Pokhara. She also practices part-time at URL Health Care Pvt. Ltd. and has previously worked at reputed institutions including Matrisishu Miteri Hospital, Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Memorial Hospital, All Nepal Hospital, and Kathmandu National Medical College. She holds permanent registration as a Radiologist with the Nepal Medical Council  and is a life member of both the Nepal Medical Association and the Nepal Radiology Association.

Dr. Karmacharya completed her MD in Radiology from Northern Mindanao Medical Center, Philippines (2014–2018) and her MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College, Dhaka University, Bangladesh (2004–2009). She has broad expertise in diagnostic radiology, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, and interventional procedures such as CT/USG-guided biopsy, thoracentesis, and paracentesis. She has also completed significant research, including a study on the accuracy of preoperative temporal bone HRCT in diagnosing cholesteatoma, and has authored a case report on aortic dissection.

A passionate learner and teacher, Dr. Karmacharya regularly attends national and international conferences and CME programs, including the Philippine College of Radiology Annual Convention, Doppler Ultrasound workshops, and Women’s Imaging CME by the Nepal Radiology Association. With strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care, she continues to contribute to the advancement of radiology services in Nepal while mentoring medical professionals in the field.
